It is killing me!

I know I am one for dramatization, this time though, I am dead serious! I have never missed Summer more, I miss the clothes, the sun and most of all I miss all the yummy fruits.

Last week The Makeup Case was invited to a fancy launch at The Winery in Sydney (I adore this place…especially the Giggly Rose cocktail). No, we weren’t just there to sip on yummy cocktails and eat yummy food, come on, we do work you know.. geez. What we were there for was to learn about Palmolive amazing new products, Body Butter Strawberry Smoother Body Wash and Palmolive Body Butter Luscious Mango Body Wash. Delish!

Don’t you just love it when you stumble upon something new? That very thing happened to me just last week.

I have just discovered Marikit, the beautiful hand made knits designed by the equally stylish designer Kitty. And I have to tell you a secret…I think I am in love! I have fallen in-love with Marikits designs, not only are they such a stylish pieces of clothing they are also all hand made by Kitty. [...]

I have to admit, I love a good night cream, and if I was really honest (which I am), I would tell you that I have been using a night cream since I was 15! Now without revealing my age…that is almost 15 years! Seriously, my skin better thank me for this when I am 60.

So you can imagine my delight when a box filled with Clarins Extra-Firming Day Cream and Extra-Firming Night Cream arrived on my desk. I have loved Clarins products for years now but had never tried the face moisturizers; I don’t know why I have left it this late because…these products are AH-MAZING! I could not wait until the next morning so that I could apply the day cream and I tell you, it did not disappoint.
